We celebrated Christmas today, since hubby is working through the weekend. We had a terrific day. I was afraid my kids would be disappointed because Christmas was a little bit leaner than last year. Obviously I underestimated my children! Everyone enjoyed buying what they could afford and seemed really happy when we celebrated Christmas today. (And all in all, the kids' loot wasn't too shabby! :-))
I received 3 wonderful gifts this year, a nightgown and a copy of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (one of my favorite movies) from my kids and a fabulous book tote from a good friend. After the gift unwrapping orgy, I made pot roast, and DH is played the new video game Seamus and I gave him. Y'know, 'cuz there's no better way to celebrate the birth of the Prince of Peace than with a shooter game! Later we wrapped up the day by watching Dr. Who. Life is good.
